European Cultural Heritage Summit 2024 in Bucharest
Łucja Cieślar gave a lecture on how to attract people to heritage and crafts in today’s world. Her audience included representatives of heritage-oriented European institutions and organisations. The speech was part of the European Heritage Awards Ceremony in Romania.
Unesco expert panel – cultural heritage and business
Paulina Adamska took part in the UNESCO expert panel on cultural heritage and business: “Economic dimensions of intangible cultural heritage safeguarding” in Paris. The panellists, international representatives of culture and business, drafted a guidance note on sustainable business activities in culture.
The role of heritage in marketing
At the invitation of the Marketing Department of Hala Koszyki in Warsaw, Lubomira Trojan moderated a workshop exploring the venue's heritage potential. This historic marketplace, which seamlessly blends tradition with modernity, attracts both locals and tourists with its unique culinary offerings and serves as a vibrant cultural hub for meetings and events. The session brought together the facility's marketing communications team.
Experience design in the culture sector
Paulina Adamska and Karolina Kania, at the invitation of the Ethnographic Laboratory Association in Warsaw, conducted a Design Thinking workshop. The participants – professionals working in cultural institutions such as the POLIN Museum, the Warsaw Praga Museum, and the Copernicus Science Centre – were introduced to the user-centered design process and tools that support creative problem-solving.
Social hackathon – moderating
Maria Garus ran a Social Hackathon workshop on the principles of the Design Thinking method. The activity was part of the “Transform4Europe – T4E: The European University for Knowledge Entrepreneurs” project at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
